Theodora Kostakopoulou (Warwick):

Professor of European Union Law and European Integration at the University of Southampton, and Director of the Centre for European Law (CELS). Formerly, she was Jean Monnet Professor in European Law and European Integration and Co-director of the Institute of Law, Economy and Global Governance at the University of Manchester, where she spent twelve years, and Jean Monnet Lecturer at the University of East Anglia and deputy Director of the Centre for European Law and Practice (1996-1999). Dora joined the AHRC’s Peer Review College in 2009 and is a member of the editorial board of Citizenship Studies. She has been British Academy, Thank Offering to Britain Fellow (2003-2004) and recipient of an Innovation Award by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (2004-2005). The financial support of these bodies enabled her to complete her second research monograph on The Future Governance of Citizenship which was published by Cambridge University Press in 2008. Projects have also been funded by UACES, The European Commission and Norface.
